Transportation From Manila To Romblon

Starting March 29, 2005 Inter Island Airlines will services Tugdan airport in Tablas, Romblon. Flights are every Tuesday and Saturday. Leaves Manila at 11:20 a.m. and lands in Tugdan airport at 12:00 noon. This flight continues on to Caticlan airport. The route is reversed back to Manila. To get to the resort there is a jeepney ride to the town of San Agustin (approx 50 min travel time). A pumpboat ride connects to Romblon Pier (1 hr travel time). The resort is 10 minutes away by Tricycle or jeepney. A pumpboat can also be rented to bring you straight to the resort from San Agustin pier (please call to arrange).

By Sea

There are two routes to take.

From Manila North Harbor at Pier # 8.

M/V Romblon Bay is scheuled on a Saturday. It departs at 3:00 p.m. with a travel time of approximately 12 hours. M/V Blessed Mother departs on a Monday at 2:00 p.m with a travel time of 11 hrs. Both vessels dock at Romblon Pier, Romblon. M/V Virgin Mary has two schedule days,  Monday and Friday leaving at 5:00 p.m. but docks on Odiongan Pier on the island of Tablas, Romblon.  This route requires a jeepney ride and a pumpboat ride to the island of Romblon, Romblon.

· From Batangas Pier.

M/V Princess Colleen of Shipshape Ferry has a schedule on Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 5:00 p.m. It is an overnight travel which takes 12 hrs.  It makes a stopover at Odiongan Pier and finally proceeds to and docks at Romblon pier, Romblon. It only offers economy class accomodation and is on a first come first served basis.
 
 

A bus ride to Batangas pier from Manila takes from about 3 hrs. depending on the traffic situation.(use as a gauge).
