  1. How do I know my current balance?

      A. Thru EMC Control Panel

      To get to your account's Control Panel:
      - Go to www.emc.com.ph
      - Key-in your dial-up username and password in the "Check Usage"
      - click "Go" button.
      - Your account's CONTROL PANEL, which contain the following info, will be displayed:

      a. Billing Records - displays your recent payments, invoices & outstanding balance
      b. story - lists down the changes made in your account
      c. Usage Report - shows in detail your current usages
      d. Preferences - allows you to change your password & see other technical info about your account

      B. Through the Billing notices we send.

  2. When will my account be moved to READ ONLY status?

    You are moved to READ ONLY status when you exceed your monthly credit limit. To keep your account active

    a. pay your bills promptly
    b. should you incur excess usages more than your credit limit before your bill day, we encourage that you pay in advance

  3. My account is in read-only mode. How do I re-activate my account? What if I don't have enough money to pay my bills all at once?

    You must settle the entire balance before your account can be reactivated. If you can't settle all your bills at once, please coordinate with our customer service rep.

  4. If I pay in advance, will you give me a better price?

    Yes. We give 20% and 10% for annual and semi-annual payment, respectively.

  5. Can I temporarily disable my EMC account?

    No. You may request to have your account downgraded instead. There is a downgrade fee of PhP 220.00.

  6. How do I ensure that my EMC account is never disconnected?

    We recommend that you always pay your bills promptly. Should you incur excess usage, take note of the warning notices being sent daily by the billing program. You may also check your usage and/or your balance at the CONTROL PANEL.

    To check your usage, key in your ppp username & password in the check usage login wizard found in the main page of EMC website

  8. How do I pay my bills?

    A. Deliver to our office

    B. Have us pick-up the payment.
    We will pick-up for FREE if amount is at least Php 950.00. We will charge Php 66.00 if less than Php 950.00

  9. When will I receive my Statement of Account?

    Your monthly statement of Account is available online in the CONTROL PANEL. To get to your account's CONTROL PANEL, just:

    a. Go to www.emc.com.ph
    b. Key-in your dial-up username and password in the "check account status" box.

    In addition, our Billing Program emails an electronic statement of account (SOA) to your EMC mailbox on your bill day. During your bill priod, you will also receive warning notices to keep you updated on your usage and running balance particularly if you have excess usage.

  10. My settings are correct, but why am I not allowed to send email?

    When this happens, check if you have no unsettled balances. Accounts with unpaid balances or have excess charges that exceeded the credit limit are moved READ ONLY status. When an account is in this status, access to dial-up and SENDING OF EMAIL ARE DISABLED. You can only RECEIVE and READ emails using other active accounts. Outstanding balances must be paid in full before request for activation can be accommodated.

  11. What happens if you temporarily disconnects my account due to my arrears?

    a. You will continue to receive mails but access to your account & mailbox is disabled.
    b. You are billed continuously for a month for mailbox maintenance, unless you send written notice to close your account.

  12. What must I do to have my Temporarily Disconnected account reactivated?

    To have your account reactivated, you should settle outstanding balances and pay PhP 220.00 reactivation fee.
